Insurance products

Our insurance cover levels have been specifically designed to suit each type of early years provision, taking into account the benefits and challenges of each provision type.

Term-time only

Our term-time only insurance comes in two different levels, Silver and Gold

Our Term-time (Silver) cover is suitable for settings who operate during school term time for up to four-hour sessions. This can be morning sessions, afternoon sessions, across lunch or multiple sessions in the day. It will cover you for care of babies and children up to five years old whether you are a nursery or a pre-school.

Our Term-time (Gold) cover is suitable for settings open term time only, and has no maximum session length, providing specific cover for many providers operating within this framework. It covers you for babies and children up to five years old, meaning it can be for nurseries or pre-schools

Full Daycare Year Round

If you are a full-time, all-year-round setting, then our Full Year Daycare Provision insurance is designed to cover you. Our Gold, Silver and Bronze packages provide different options to suit your individual requirements. If you need to tailor it further, there are a range of options to choose from, including additional shed cover, increased Public Liability Limits, and Computer Cover.

Single site Baby and Toddler

Our single site baby and toddler insurance policy is designed for charitable or voluntary organisations offering play. This is play for children aged five years or under at one location where their parent, carer or guardian is responsible for their supervision at all times.

Baby and Toddler held at multiple sites

‘Baby and toddler’ groups are now often held at multiple locations. Many providers have taken their love of developing young minds, and turned them into fantastic enterprises creating a wonderful community for new parents and carers. If your business takes place across different locations, at different times or the same time, then our Gold, Silver or Bronze Baby and Toddler cover is designed for you. This will also include any staff you may have working for you.

Childminding professional

Recognising the important role that you have as a childminding professional within the sector, Childminding insurance (Silver) provides cover for you if you are an individual childminding professional. If you are working with up to four assistants, Childminding insurance (Gold) is suitable for you.

Wraparound Provision (before- and after-school clubs)

Insurance for wraparound provision is appropriate for you if you provide wraparound care and offer supervised play-led learning before or after school hours. This product is suitable for settings with children aged from 5-11 and those with special needs up to the age of 16.

* NB: Wraparound provision (before- and after school insurance) add-on insurance is available for those settings which offer wraparound provision at the same premises as their main business as a nursery or pre-school.

Holiday Club

If you only operate during term time, you may be able to maximise potential by providing holiday clubs to those families in the local area. This can help children learn, engage and also relax during their school holiday. This cover is designed to provide cover for any holiday provision you make.

Creche

The creche, a lifeline for parents in need of the short term care and entertainment they provide to children. If you run a creche, our and insurance product will provide you with the cover you need to feel confident in delivering the excellent ad-hoc childcare parents and carers require.
